Designed for Your Story

Fashion & Editorial Photographer in Rome

Overview

Fashion images should communicate identity and direction, not simply polished clothes. Eidos creates studio-led and carefully planned on-location productions in Rome for models, artists, designers, creative teams and brands.

Start with the purpose: portfolio, editorial story, lookbook, campaign or event. We define concept, team, deliverables, retouching and usage rights in a written proposal before reserving the date.

Studio by advance arrangement. Eidos has no permanent in-house studio. We select a suitable Rome space; rental and other external production costs are confirmed separately. This is a concept-led service, not a vacation portrait package.

Choose a direction

Start With the Intended Use

The production format follows the result you need—not a fixed tourist-style package.

01

Model Portfolio, Test or Digitals

Styled range for a portfolio, creative material for a test, or clean minimal-retouching digitals for agencies.

02

Editorial & Personal Branding

Fashion-led portraits for actors, artists, musicians and creators, from restrained to cinematic.

03

Lookbook & Campaign

Collection consistency for a lookbook; stronger storytelling and separately licensed advertising use for a campaign.

04

Beauty & Creative Team

Close portraits and detail work for makeup, hair, styling and collaborative portfolios.

05

Runway & Backstage

Key looks, preparation and event atmosphere where the organiser grants access and accreditation.

No automatic photo count or generic price table: the final scope, crew, retouching and licence belong in your proposal.

Production

Plan the Creative Work

A realistic call sheet protects both the concept and the final image quality.

Direction and preparation

A short consultation shapes the project. A full moodboard or campaign treatment is included only when the proposal says so. Share references, looks, intended use and deadline; prepare camera-ready wardrobe, shoes, jewellery and backups.

Studio or Rome location

Eidos selects a studio to suit the lighting, concept and team. Rental is client-funded. Streets, hotels, rooftops and private interiors can be considered when light, access and commercial permissions support the brief. Permits, transport and admission are separate unless included in writing.

People and suppliers

Makeup artists, stylists, models and assistants can be recommended as independent suppliers. Their availability and fees are separate unless the proposal includes them. A guardian stays with every minor and any required release must be completed.

Timing that works

Allow roughly two weeks when possible; larger projects may need more lead time. Studio setup, lighting, hair and makeup, wardrobe, set changes and travel all use the booked production time.

Workflow

From Brief to Final Files

  • Send the brief. Share date, purpose, participants, looks, references, preferred studio, deadline and video needs.
  • Shape the production. We recommend the service, format, location and specialist team.
  • Review the proposal. Hours, studio, crew, image count, retouching, licensing and delivery are set out in writing.
  • Reserve and confirm. The required payment, accepted terms and written confirmation hold the date; studio costs may need advance payment.
  • Create and deliver. We confirm the call sheet, photograph the project, select the strongest usable frames unless agreed otherwise, then complete the defined edit.

Selection, Retouching & Delivery

  • The proposal sets the edited-image count. Eidos normally selects the strongest usable frames; client proofing is included only if agreed in writing.
  • Get All Photos, if purchased, means usable, non-duplicate, unedited JPEGs—not test frames, missed-focus images or camera RAW files.
  • Standard editing covers colour, exposure, contrast, composition and simple background cleanup. Extensive beauty work, body/face changes, garment reconstruction and background replacement are quoted separately.
  • Digital delivery only. Prints, albums and frames are not part of this offer.

Commercial clarity

Usage Rights Are Part of the Brief

Production and commercial use are defined separately—not assumed to be an unlimited buyout.

Private editorialPersonal viewing and agreed non-commercial sharing. No business or paid promotional use.

Booking

Confirm the Production

Proposal before payment

Every fashion project starts with an enquiry and written proposal. The accepted proposal, required booking payment and written confirmation reserve the date. A 20% booking payment is the general starting point; studio, permits and independent crew may require advance costs.

Date changes and committed costs

Fashion-specific cancellation and rescheduling terms, including treatment of a deposit or non-recoverable third-party costs, must be stated in the proposal before you book. Those terms take priority where they differ from the general direct-booking policy, subject to mandatory rights.

Privacy and team

A project booking does not give Eidos automatic permission to publish identifiable work. Portfolio or advertising use by Eidos needs separate consent. The assigned photographer, editor, videographer and production team are confirmed in writing.

Questions

Fashion & Editorial FAQ

Do I need modelling experience?

No. New models and private clients receive direction; experienced talent can work from a looser brief.

Portfolio, test shoot or digitals—what is the difference?

A portfolio shows range; a test develops creative material; digitals present the model clearly with simple styling and minimal retouching.

Do you have a studio?

No permanent in-house studio. We select a suitable Rome studio by advance arrangement; the client funds rental as quoted.

Can we shoot on location?

Yes, after reviewing light, access, permissions, travel and commercial-use restrictions for the brief.

Do you provide wardrobe, models or makeup?

No wardrobe is supplied. Independent specialists may be recommended; their fees are separate unless the proposal includes them.

How many images will we receive?

The written proposal sets the count and retouching. Eidos usually selects final frames unless client proofing is explicitly included.

Can a brand use the photos in paid ads?

Only under a commercial licence covering the agreed media, duration, territory, image count and any exclusivity.

What if we need to move the date?

Check the fashion-specific proposal. It must state the rescheduling window and any already committed studio, crew or permit costs before booking.

Send the date, intended use, participants, looks, references, preferred studio and deadline. We will recommend a production format and prepare a written proposal.
