Today, I'm going to share everything that no photography blog dares to mention.
One of the most common anxieties I receive—from Reddit threads to direct emails—is this: "I'm awkward in front of the camera. I don't know where to put my hands, and I never look natural."
Here's the good news: I'm not just a photographer; a significant portion of my job is about building trust and making you comfortable. During the first 10 minutes of our session, rather than asking you to "just be natural," I actually guide you step-by-step through posing.
For men? Hands relaxed in pants pockets—not clenched, but loose and easy. This conveys confidence and comfort.
For women? When standing, place your hand on your hip to create a natural body curve. When sitting, cross your legs—it looks elegant and makes you feel more assured.
These aren't random tricks. They're psychologically proven to make you feel more confident while looking better. Confidence always translates to better photos.
Here's something no article mentions: you need to actually walk between locations, and Rome is more spread out than people realize.
This matters tremendously when choosing your package duration. If you only have 30 minutes, choose one location or two adjacent ones. If you want three iconic spots, you need a 90-minute session, minimum.
Let's be honest: Trevi Fountain is crowded. Extraordinarily crowded. Especially between 10 AM and 4 PM, it's a sea of tourists with selfie sticks.
The Colosseum becomes heavily touristed after 8 AM when official tours begin departing every 15 minutes.
The Spanish Steps? Perfect until 7:30 AM, then absolutely overrun.

You can change clothes once during your session. Many people do.
But here's the reality: Every minute spent changing is a minute lost from actual photography. One outfit change? Great idea. Two or three? You're wasting your invested time.
If you want more time for multiple looks, add 30 minutes extra to your session. When booking, there's an "Add-on: Additional 30 Minutes" option.

30-Minute Package: Perfect for one location only. You cannot move around. Ideal for couples wanting simple, quick portraits.
60-Minute Package: This is our most popular. You can visit two nearby locations (Trevi + Spanish Steps) or explore one location in greater depth with multiple outfit changes and poses.
90-Minute Package: Three locations, or two locations with a full outfit change, or the complete Rome experience: Trevi + Spanish Steps + Colosseum with transitions included.
Summer temperatures in Rome reach 35-40°C (95-104°F). This isn't just uncomfortable for you—it affects me and my camera too.

Your raw images are unpolished. I spend significant time editing each photograph—adjusting light, color, sharpness, and yes, removing stray tourists and minor distractions from backgrounds using advanced AI and Photoshop.
About 80% of what makes your final images look magazine-quality comes from editing. Your expectations shouldn't extend to "Can you make me taller?" or "Can you completely change my appearance?" Those aren't our services. Instead, expect subtle, precise enhancements—slightly brighter skin tones, more vibrant colors, and yes, a few extra tourists digitally removed.
